Tell Your Friends!

We used to do Weddings almost every weekend.

Now, we have scaled it back a bit, but we still like to do a certain number each year.

Hearing aids

One of the side effects of being at hundreds of noisy wedding receptions over all those years, is that I (Chet) have hearing aids now.

A couple of days ago, I got a letter from Dr. Ballard, my Audiologist, and inside was a wonderful surprise — a gift card for 4 of the best restaurants in town!

Friends have asked about my hearing aids, and I tell them where I got them and how much they help. One of the friends took his mother to get some, and I got a “Thank-you” gift card from Quincy Audiology for referring them.

I am thrilled (because I love to eat).

But it made me think, “Do my clients know how much I appreciate it when they tell their friends about our studio?”

Hey! Go see my friend Chet!

Over the years, we HAVE sometimes offered various incentives for “telling your friends” about us. To be honest, the response hasn’t been great. People tell US how much fun the session was, and how happy they are with their Portraits, but not that many new clients come in and say, “my friend Jessica sent me”…

  • Could it be friends ARE sending people but they just don’t tell us?
  • Could it be that they don’t tell us because we forget to ask?
  • Or are they NOT sending their friends, even though they loved their Portrait Experience?
  • Why not?

I admit, I don’t exactly walk down the street telling everyone to go get their ears checked, but when someone notices and asks me about my hearing aids, I DO enthusiastically tell them how helpful they are, and where I got them. We want you to tell your friends how much you like your Portraits, and we would love to reward you when you do!
